This is usually how big construction jobs work. The primary contractor contracts with the client & then the primary contractor is responsible for contracting, managing & paying the subs.

As a general contractor of over 35 years, it is the GC's responsibility to hire/manage/pay the subcontractors. The GC is "bonded", meaning bills are guaranteed to be paid but any subcontractor knows their is a timeframe for filing claims.

Sounds like the right is looking for anything that can discredit the foundation, trump has 2000 law suits against him for not paying his contractors.

My thoughts exactly!

Oh good trump is going to try and say President Obama didn’t pay his sub-contractors. Just because trump is known for screwing over his sub-contractors he wants to try and get President Obama on the same list.

Compare this “concern” with the hundreds of jobs left unpaid by Trump. He also left multiple bills unpaid from his first run for office. Millions upon millions of unpaid debts on top of tax evasion and business fraud. A real dead beat. But stories about Obama surface? Bull shit.

I'm sure Obama is dealing things the correct way

He's not like a trump he's a human being that knows how to treat other workers

If there is a legitimate claim then the sub contractor contractor can file a lien on the property. There is a specific time frame allowed for this, then the lien rights run out.

Have any liens been filed?

If this was a legitimate beef there would be specific’s , what are the specifics, which sub or supplier , which invoice, how much , etc.

The Prime is the contractor. When subs have a legitimate dispute with payment, they can usually take it up with the Dept. Of Labor. The Davis Bacon Act applies to construction... or did back in the day when I was involved in Gov't contracting.

Seems to me I remember someone complaining that Obama put illegal kids in cages. Well, while there might be evidence of that, they should provide same. And even IF (and that's a BIG IF!) Obama did so, does it give tRUMP the right to do the same, or worse? Everyone knows 2 wrongs don't make it right. So if his excuse is that if Obama did it then he should get to do it, too? Is a line of complete bull crap! tRUMP'S always grasping at straws to defend his behavior and, well, he can't. Because it's completely irrational and he is finding out that behaving irrationally about this or anything else, does not do him any favors. And tRUMP will always try to pass the blame onto someone else because for him it's just his standard operating procedure.
